The first FORMULA ONE run in Hungary was held in 1986. From tourist aspect this is one of the events in Hungary of outstanding importance, as on such occasions many more foreigners come to visit our country than usual.

The fans of speed and horsepower - accompanied by their friends and relatives - like to enjoy themselves after the practice session and the race. They are willing to get an insight to our culture, the life of this country, and go for sightseeing tours with pleasure to get acquainted with the sights of Budapest.

That is why we decided to organise the programme named Lyoness Hungaroring Fest, this specific, non-traditional festival, where all those things known to be characteristic of us, Hungarians are gathered and presented in one common scene, showing at the same time other values related to the name of Hungary, to supplement and improve general stereotypies.

This event is created to provide opportunity for Hungarian and foreign visitors to meet the exotic world of Formula One and enjoy the culinary art of Hungarian cuisine at the same time, while listening to high-quality productions on the stage presented by Hungarian artists, leaving a long-lasting experience.
